Class Policies

Space is limited. Pre-registration and payment is required. Missed classes may be made up at a later session if the same class is offered again. If you wish to make up the class as a private lesson with the instructor, the private lesson fees will incur.

Fees listed are for the complete class, including all sessions but DO NOT include materials or patterns unless noted.

Students purchasing materials for a class will receive a 20% discount on yarn only.


Fees are refundable if you cancel within 5 days of the first class. Hillcreek or the instructor may cancel the class for lack of enrollment, and your fee will be refunded.

We offer classes for all skill levels, but not every class is designed for every level. To ensure that everyone gets the most of the class, please respect the skill requirements listed.

We ask that you please show up on time and have all your supplies, or get here early to purchase supplies.


Beginning Crochet with Kirsten - Sep 06, 2014

Ever want to learn how to crochet? This class would be a great way for knitters to learn the basic crochet techniques and stitches.

Continental Knitting - Sep 13, 2014

Learn to knit holding the yarn in your left hand or "picking" style. This knitting technique is usually faster and more ergonomic that the traditional "English" or "American" operating system. Great class for brand new knitters or switchers!

Two at a Time Toe UP Socks! - Sep 20, 2014

Come learn how to make a luxurious pair of socks. Two at a TIME so you won't have SSS (second sock syndrome) and Toe-up so you can try them on as you go.

Reverse Engineering Your Favorite Sweater - Sep 27, 2014

This is always a student hit! Bring in your favorite store bought sweater and we'll do some measuring and figuring and write a pattern for you to recreate close as possible, of course. Please do not bring in a cobweb lace weight sweater that would have to be knit on "000" needles unless you actually think you would knit it!

Finishing and Blocking Your Projects - Oct 04, 2014
